Prof Ingo Diehl (Germany), a graduated stage dancer and dance teacher, is head of the Master for Contemporary Dance Education program, Vice President for Quality Assurance in Teaching and Research at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt/Germany and President of the Hessian Theater Academy.​ From 2005 to 2011 Ingo was Head of Education - Tanzplan Deutschland, an initiative of the German Federal Cultural Foundation, developer of the national collaborative Festival of Biennale Dance Education and the research project Tanztechniken 2010, and co-founder of Diehl+Ritter gUG and the Tanzfonds. Since April 2012, he has headed the MA CoDE (Contemporary Dance Education) master's program at the HfMDK and is building up an international network with universities and performance venues. In addition to teaching, he is active as an advisor, consultant, expert and curator, at various festivals and panels as well as in dance and performance-political contexts.
