Dr Heike Salzer

Dr Heike Salzer (United Kingdom) (PhDCW) is a dance artist fluidly moving between performance, choreography, and site-specific screendance. Under the umbrella of WECreate Productions she co-directs (with Baer) award winning screendances, installations, and multi-media performances, and serves as curator of the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema (US). Her publications reflect on interdisciplinary artistic research focusing on site-specific screendance, embodied practice and worldbuilding. Heike has shared her practice as an artist, teacher and researcher internationally for over two decades and has been involved in curriculum development and external consultancy in Higher Education in Malta, Netherlands, Austria, and the United Kingdom. She is a Senior Lecturer in Dance Practices, leading the MFA Dance and Embodied Practice at the University of Roehampton and is member of the CRACE-Centre for Research in Arts and Creative Exchange.
